Hungry for Popeye's

That new Popeye's is open in the American Legion Highway shopping center in Roslindale (the one with the Dunkin' Donuts), and it's definitely not hurting for business. I stopped in last night at about 8:20 and there were 29 people in line in front of me. I don't think I've ever seen that many people waiting for fast food. It still wasn't too slow considering - I got out in about 10 minutes. On my way out the door, the line was as long as when I got in. The cashier told me "it's like this 24/7" although not literally, since it's only open until 10. The food's good, at least for fast food.
