All he needs is a sound truck and a torchlight parade

Sean Ryan: Boldly leading Boston into the 1950s! We haven't had such a tuneful city-council campaign since Tito Jackson ran for the council last year.

Considering that Sean Ryan doesn't seem to support private discrimination laws, the 1950s seem like a good decade for him.

Great video kid. Get that blasting from a soundtruck from now until the election and you got it.

Thanks to John Tobin quitting like he did and thanks to differences in state and city elections rules, voters in District 6 get two extra elections this year:

Oct. 19: Preliminary to reduce the number of candidates to 2.

Nov. 16: Final election to select somebody to replace Tobin until next year's regular city-council elections.

I went to high school with this kid, and if I remember corectly, Matt O'Malley was in out class as well. Therefore, and NOT because of the ridiculousness of his ad, I can't take his campaign seriously.
