Boston area not under attack this morning

Kat Cornetta reports the twin fighter jets that zoomed at near-treetop level over Brookline Village around 10 a.m. - and which could be heard as far away as Weston - were part of a Boston University salute at Nickerson Field to ROTC and to alumni who have served in the military.

Auburndale
We saw them in Auburndale, too, around 10 am. Assumed they were part of some sort of terrorism-related reassurance or reminder.
"Strafed"?! I don't think so
Strafing does indeed involve flying at low altitude as these jets presumably did, but also includes attacking targets on the ground with machine-gun fire. I'm guessing that didn't happen.
No Brooklineites were harmed ...
So I've changed the wording.
