I was in Manahattan the other day and saw a turkey in Battery Park. If the turkey's have figured out how to board a ferry, navigate the onramps to the Brooklyn Bridge, or pay the tolls at the Holland Tunnel to get on Manahattan they will surely be everywhere soon. In our yards, cars, offices, showers, chimneys, etc. Now we just need to devise a way to safely gather them for Thanksgiving.

Ever see a wild turkey fly? They're not graceful, but I saw one fly into a neighbor's tree and perch.

The wild turkeys do fly you know...

"wild turkeys can wing away from predators at 45 mph, and can maintain level flight for nearly a mile."

I saw one in Newton Highlands just last night, perched about 30 feet up in a tree, making turkey noises. Man, those things are unwieldy-looking, especially in trees.
