Just like preschool/ day care teachers do, as well as workers in virtually every other occupation.

Lots of school janitors do work the summer with pay. Who do you think sweeps the halls and repairs broken windows and removes graffiti and sets up the all-purpose room for community events and mows the lawn and generally keeps up the property?
