Thanks for the words of encouragement. I've avoided a more formal design for a sail for some understandable reasons.

For one thing, it was hard enough getting 'accepted' in the downtown area in which I surf. The eccentric-look I've cultivated, the "He's harmless."- approach, meant a little more toleration of my activity.

Second, I'm not sure if, in fact, the professional design is suited for the downtown traffic and pedestrians. My own design has evolved and has already adapted to a quick collapse and manipulation during a high-level of pedestrian and automobile traffic. I've also been told that the 'Stealth Delta' sail which I'm acquiring may increase my speeds....Will I have better or worse control? Will I be able to maneuver effectively around people, in streets, sidewalks?

Lastly, the flashy colors and grand size will call attention to myself in a way that surpasses even what I've already achieved in visibility and recognition. This may not be such a good thing, as I'm concerned as to whether or not I'll still be permitted and tolerated in a highly trafficked area.

Still, I'm giving it a shot. Nothing stays the same. I'm ready for a new challenge and I've discovered a niche for wind-power and creative use of the wind in the city. I'm still heading for a serious use for wind as transportation. Sailing, using a free and abundant power-source, along the corridors of the city, is still a wonderful and exciting goal, which is still shared by so many I meet in Copley Sq. who smile, laugh, or applaud.
