Ahhh..city on a hill!
Nothing is sadder than a city that has a shortage of "major" celebrities to write about. Which is why the 2 sows from the Herald constantly write about the Wahlbergs, Tom & Giselle, and Ernie Boch,Jr. Give me Norma Nathan any day! The problem with the Track Gals is that they sit around on their fat asses, waiting for a phone call or an e-mail from one of their self serving "sources". At least Norma was out there on the street every day, offering limo drivers fifty bucks each for each legitimate story you gave her. Nowadays, all gossip columnists do is reprint whatever a PR flack tells them to.
Off topic celebrity sighting.
This story was relayed to me by my buddy a couple weeks back. He was in New York City somewhere with his wife for their one year anniversary and they bumped into an apparently slightly inebriated Al Pacino on the street- bumped right into his wife. Pacino apologized and my buddy, a natural wise ass, said "The Old man had too much wine"- a line from Godfather Two. Pacino roared with laughter at that.
