Milk makes man mad; taxi tooting takes toll

Boston Police report a local man kicked in the door of the 7-Eleven at Boylston and Dartmouth streets around 12:45 a.m. today after store clerks refused to refund his money for a half-empty gallon of sour milk because it was a brand they don't carry.

When employees told the suspect that they didn’t carry or sell the product he was looking to return, the suspect became enraged and began kicking the front glass door until it shattered. Officers observed shattered glass on the ground around the door. Officers also confirmed that 7-Eleven did not carry or sell the brand of milk the suspect was looking to confirm.

Dude was arrested on a charge of willful and malicious destruction of property.

About an hour later, police responded to Park and Tremont streets, where a cabbie reported that when he blew his horn to get a truck to move when the light turned green, the truck driver got out and punched and kicked the cab until he smashed the right front window, at which point he got back in his truck and drove off. Police say they found the alleged kicky cab cruncher a couple blocks away and arrested him on a charge of willful and malicious destruction of property.
