Michael Pahre gets the scoop on plans by the sneaker company is looking at building a large mixed-use development - that could take two decades to complete - on the land between its current headquarters and the Stop & Shop.

Isn't there a separate industrial building there too
I picture some sort of factory type building between S&S and NB. Something about Controls....." Controls". I assumed it was some sort of gauge or thermostat company---or an evil laboratory that makes mind-reading devices or something

The article mentions a new commuter rail stop, which Im all for (add another one at the BU bridge, stop at Riverside, Yawkey, Back Bay and South Station, buy a DMU, and you have a way to relieve the B line)...
But the article also mentions that this thing wont happen if the state doesnt put in new ramps for the mass pike. So it wont be happening.
