The Tea Party has a candidate for attorney general

He's Guy Carbone, former commissioner of the MDC (remember that?), big fan of Arizona and a gun-owning opponent of national health care. He's also apparently been running since May - as a sticker candidate - to get on the Republican ballot, which is currently vacant, since nobody bothered to collect enough signatures or get the state convention to endorse them.

Carbone ran for attorney general in 1990, as well.

Barbara Anderson, no fan of the current AG, is no fan of this sticker campaign, either:

... Instead of working to elect Congressional, governor, Senate and House candidates who actually had the foresight to get on the ballot, let's run around in circles getting 200,000 people to put stickers on ballots. You can even raise money to mail stickers to all state Republicans instead of contributing that amount to a viable existing campaign! (Then most of them will forget to take the stickers with them on primary day, if they vote at all). ...

Let's not forget the other Republican sticker candidate for the job: Jim McKenna.

gun-owning, huh? I'll bet he owns a car, too.

you make it sound like that adjective is added by opponents. usually these candidates advertise their ownership, and a portion of their supporters view it is an important trait.

Read the first link and you'll see it makes a point of his memberhsip in the Gun Owners Action League and his tangles with Coakley's office over gun issues.

Why does Barbara Anderson hate democracy?

Jim has already picked up multiple endorsements and support from the Tea Party. He has accomplished more in 10 days than any other candidate running for the office including Martha Coakley. This guy is a prosector who is experienced in public corruption. He's the Independent minded candidate who can clean up the corruption in this state. This election will be historic!

I mean, the "Palin bump" (not a prego joke) has had the opposite effect. I'd rather vote for a corruption-minded Coakley than someone endorsed by a bunch of hypocritical, unintelligent, racists like the Tea Party.

You repeat and believe this because ... you read this in the Liberal Media who hate her because she represents everything they hate - goodness, character, truth, integrity, hardwork, etc ... I am not impressed.

Guy Carbone is not the man you think he is. He haunted my grandfather on his death bed. He waited until the day my grandfather died all of 2 minutes to contact his wife and started haunting her as well. My grandfather wasn't even in the grave and this man just continued to hound our family. This man went to probate and signed to see my grandfathers papers and when we needed the papers they misteriously disappeared. Wonder what happened???? I think this man is arrogant, uncaring, and very much self centered. Be careful!!!
