Why did the neighbors want the birds gone? Noise, or stink? Stink can be addressed by regular cleaning of the provided living conditions. The noise, well they are in a large city, and noise is everywhere. In short, what was the real problem?

I once had an idiot neighbor that fed around 40 pigeons. The noise, the smell, the shit all over the window sills, the feather dander that gets everywhere.

There's no way to clean up after that many birds unless you do it all day, everyday. They should be poisoned. Or shot. People who feed rodents and vermin should be cited.
