Seems kind of low

WBUR reports on the planned IPO of Dunkin' Brands and notes that the filing states there is one Dunk's for every 9,700 people in New England and New York. That ratio has got to be way lower within 128, right?

Are you sure you don't mean "high" in the headline?

Have you tried their coffee and donuts lately?

When I was a kid, my brother bet me that there were at least 100 Dunkin Donuts listed in the Boston yellow pages. I took the wager. I lost.

Haven't counted lately, but if it's anything like that today, then it'd be more like 1/6,000 around here.

I think it's about one per 970 inside 128.

A few years ago I met someone who worked for Dunks corporate and according to her there was one for every 6,000 residents in MA and one per 5,000 in RI. Hence her job, identifying new markets ripe for expansion!
