Chicago sandwich chain to open Logan outlet

So if you've been to Chicago and think Potbelly is the cat's meow of sandwich places, well, you'll have a new reason to jump on the Blue Line to Airport.

Fans of sandwich chains will recall, of course, that Earl of Sandwich first came to Boston via Logan before winning a bid to turn the former Boston Common men's room into an outlet.

H/t Jim.

Depends on which side of security they are on. If they are on the far side, you won't get to have a sandwich without a ticket on the airline(s) in that terminal. And the last time I was hungry at Logan, all the good places were on the other side.

It has been proven that all you need is a fake boarding pass and a valid ID. Google fake boarding passes, print one up for a current flight, act confident and walk on through.

True, it is probably more trouble then its worth and probably frowned upon by the TSA and the police if you get caught.

I have not had their food so I can not tell you if its worth the risk.

Or, if it is past security and you really want to go, buy a fully refundable ticket, go on in, have your sandwich, and walk back out and cancel your ticket.

Maybe what's needed is a new type of ticket... not a travel ticket more like a movie ticket... this new type of ticket only would allow access to the restaurants beyond security.

Other option is to coordinate with someone arriving.

I hear from a reliable source that:

Potbelly is POST security at terminal C, so Jet Blue and United patrons rejoice and everyone else can cry in their not-hand-dipped milkshakes.
