One of my favorite places in Boston; this is so sad. Does anyone have the actual reason? I want to know! I deserve to know. A favorite place of mine closed with no notice, there is something up! TELL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KO was horribly overpriced, and I was not that impressed with the meat. And Four Green Fields, tucked into cavernous floor-level annex in a bank skyscraper, was far from a homey Boston-style Irish pub. As phony as it comes. Florida-owned, too.
Is actually a wonderful pub. Nice thatched roof, live irish music every night and a nice little outdoor patio. Pretty much the opposite of the one they opened here.
...as it reportedly did not serve prime-grade beef like every other luxury steakhouse in town. Writing was on the wall when Oringer withdrew as consulting chef last month, but it's still surprising to see a boutique hotel without a single restaurant on premise. KO was worthwhile when Jamie Bissonnette ran it; he made the non-steak menu really interesting with dishes like calf's brains piperade. But that was a long time ago.

Four Green Fields as well
Nine Zero, the hotel in which KO is in, is reportedly having cash flow problems as well.
Four Green Fields at One Boston Place has closed. Great Pint but always felt like you were driking in a HS caf decorated for St. Patrick's Day.
No!!!

KO Prime should have been called KO Choice
