"Beginning at 4:30, severe delays on the Orange Line due to ...." as I've seen on some recent alerts about allegedly unscheduled service disruptions.

I got a ride to my second job... I would have been caught up in that. Maybe. I might have even been on the disabled train

The T is not reliable, and neither are many of the major arteries.

Best to have plans to take buses when trains fail, pay the parking of a friend who drives when those fail and bike when it all goes to shit.
