Police investigate death of BU freshman in Allston

Boston Police report "no visible injuries or trauma were observed" on the body of Andrew Barksdale II, 19, after he was found unconscious at 22 Wadsworth St. in Allston late Friday. He was later pronounced dead at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Police are investigating because 19-year-olds normally don't just drop dead like that.

The Daily Free Press reports he was an engineering student and a member of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity.

Wadsworth Street is in a student-heavy section of Allston that has had its share of bad news in recent months, including a fatal stabbing in January.
