Red Line service halted after person hit, killed by train at Davis Square

Around 11:10 a.m.

Transit Police report the victim was a white male in his late 30s. After firefighters extricated him from under the train, he was taken to Somerville Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The T substituted shuttle buses for Red Line service until about 1:15 p.m.

The man killed by the train Saturday morning is Charles "CJ" Clark/Piona of Boston. He is originally from Easton, MA. There will be a tribute for CJ at "Out of the Blue Art Gallery" in Central Square on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
