Man charged with Mattapan murder

Updated.

A Plymouth man was ordered held without bail yesterday on charges he murdered Rayshawn Few on Woodruff Way on Feb. 17, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Kewon "Killer" Kelley, 26, was arrested in Brockton the night before.

According to prosecutors, Few arrived at a 24 Woodruff Way party with uninvited guests, an argument broke out around 2:30 a.m., and Kelley pulled out a gun and killed Few by shooting him several times.

Police arrived in time to see a brown car racing from the scene. They chased, the car suddenly stopped and three men ran out. Police nabbed Osmell Odena, 22, and charged him with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. A third man in the car, Jamal Gittens of Mattapan, was charged with failure to stop for police and resisting arrest. Neither Odena nor Gittens face charges related to the murder, the DA's office says.

Innocent, etc.
