Things will be priced to moove at online auction of Hilltop stuff - including the cactus, but just one cow
By adamg on Thu, 12/05/2013 - 3:25pm
Pretty much everything that wasn't stolen in the HIlltop's final days goes on sale in two online auctions on Dec. 14.
The first auction, which starts at 10 a.m., features the boring stuff, such as chairs, generators and bathrrom and kitchen equipment (right down to the kitchen sink. The better auction starts at 2 p.m. and includes portraits of Indian chiefs, cowboy and Indian figurines, cattle horns, stuffed buffalo heads, restaurant signs, menus and, yes, the 70-foot cactus that long lit up the night sky above Rte. 1.
Also for sale: a single, somewhat beat up, fiberglass calf.

Not Online, On-Site
It's not an online auction, it's an old-fashioned "live-person" auction to be held at the restaurant site:
How convenient
I bet I can get all of my Christmas shopping done at the afternoon session.
