You're literally going with "He Started it"?
Do we really need to sit down and have the "two wrongs don't make a right" talk? I know it's been a while since kindergarten, but I thought you'd remember that one.
And if the justice system "doesn't work," as you claim, then exploiting and abusing it isn't really a great way to fix it.

Did you tell him to take control of that liquor store by going into a guy's home and threatening his family? I didn't tell him to do that. Who did?
This is a good thing, people.
The alternative was a long, expensive trial resulting in a guilty verdict that would then be overturned by the 1st Circuit, which would have resulted in another long and expensive trial. Judge Stearns should have recused himself a long time ago and we could have avoided all of these motions.
Bulger's marching orders to J.W. Carney are to do everything possible to ensure that Bulger goes to his grave without being finally convicted. This could definitely happen if the U.S. Attorney's Office doesn't stop screwing around with fighting each one of the tiny battles J.W. Carney's keeps putting up in front of them. Stipulate to the bullshit and get on with the case. There should be enough evidence in this case to convict the guy six (or 19) times over, and if there isn't, fighting motion battles isn't going to create it. Don't go for the home run - just make sure you get enough to ensure that Bulger goes to F.P.M.I.T.A. prison (that's an Office Space ref) for the rest of his life.

The new judge for Whitey's trial is Judge Casper, a black woman.
It will be fun to see him squelch his inner Archie Bunker.
