Boston Herald Fear-Mongers Ebola "Panic" on Front Page

bostonherald:

Our worst fears may be coming true.

Gail Cohen writes in her front-page feature editorial column called, "Obama puts our security at risk."

I'm with Chris Farone on this, the only ones who should get ebola are editors and columnists who fear-monger ebola for page clicks, (and I'd ad for politics.)

Our own SwirlyGrrl, a public health professional, writes "There isn't a need to panic anyway:"

Ebola has spread in Africa because they don't have a health care system that can deal with it. Despite decades of HIV, universal precautions are still difficult to observe.

If you are afraid of getting sick, go get a flu shot, and make sure that your vaccines for whooping cough and measles are up to date.

Influenza kills more people in the US each and every year than the total number of deaths from Ebola anywhere ever.
