Criminal pro tip: Snow makes it harder to escape police following footprints

Boston Police report officers responding to a report of a ne'er-do-well skulking about Delle Avenue in Roxbury pretty quickly found their man, but then he managed to evade them - until they noticed fresh footprints in the snow on Alleghany Street:

While following the footprints, officers were lead to the suspect who was found lying down in the rear of the location. As officers approached, the suspect stated, “You got me.” A search of the immediate area enabled officers to locate a bag containing, among other things, two Apple Macbook computers and several pieces of jewelry.
