Jim Meegan put together this five-year time lapse of the renovation and expansion of the Harvard Art Museums out of 85,000 still photos. The museums re-open to the public this Sunday.

This is a really cool video! As I watch I realize that I lost track of what was going on with the renovation and expansion project, so I am grateful for the 3-minute summary. 85,000 photos!!!! What a labor of love!

Wow, I hadn't realized just how big this project was. They basically tore down the east wing of the Fogg, except they kept the brick facade.

With any luck, this project was big enough to stick, and won't get torn down for an even bigger expansion, like they did to the 1991 Werner Otto Hall extension.

Love the work by the migratory port-a-john. I hope it'll get it's own panel at the can film festival.

I worked at the Fogg in the 80's and always loved the building. Can't wait to go back and see the new space..
