Olympics honcho says Matt O'Malley could have final say on whether Franklin Park would be used for equestrian events

The Jamaica Plain Gazette interviews Boston 2024 President Dan O’Connell, who says that the committee has already IDed a North Shore site (hmm, so maybe they're not so short-sighted?) in case the local city councilor comes out against shutting down Franklin Park for use by the horsey set:
If, for example, “[City Councilor] Matt O’Malley came to me and said there is no support [in his district] for using Franklin Park as a venue, we would look elsewhere” for another option, he said.

Myopia
"Short sighted". I saw what you did there.
One of your previous posts about the pro-Olympic team said it all. Juliette Kayem said she hadn't even read the bid. Talk about myopic!
Oh, Adam
How could you let by a chance to make a "neigh-sayers" headline
O'malley
Is a lightweight. Will never take a stand and follow thru.
Use franklin park
Why wouldn't they want to use Franklin Park for the Olympics? I can't understand why it would be supported
