Sauron was an incredibly powerful dark lord of evil, intent on ruling the world and wiping out all that was beautiful and growing, causing fear and destruction in all the lands under his power. So, yeah, kinda like Trump.
Pei's partner who designed the Hancock Tower. Pei submitted an earlier design that wasn't so masterful and was ultimately rejected (try to imagine a fifty story paper towel tube made of concrete and with one flat glass side).
If the insurance part of the building (does John Hancock Insurance still occupy any of the building?) was involved in homeowner's insurance business then this would most assuredly be an appropriate abode for Sauron. Or for any who are deeper Tolkien aficionados, Melkor.

Sauron can't afford a high-rise, luxury apartment near the top? Pssh.
Oh, he does
But he has to take the elevator up first.
I don't think so
Why go through all the bother to create fell beasts if you can't use them instead of an elevator?
And he had a thing
for a certain ring.
Probably ...
... rides up and down just for the effect.

Pei was masterful...
(aside from the windows falling out back in the day)
So was Henry Cobb

hence the expression as we know it....
..."cobbling together for little pei"....
Especially appropropriate if Hancock was homeowner's insurance

Sauron at the Hancock Bldg
I believe this would mean that Sauron is in the same building as Bain Capital.
how many degrees of separation
Sauron <--------->Bain<----------->Romney<------------>Presidency
yikes, that was close.
Sauron<---good hair--->Romney
