I've always wondered if these petitions could be easily forged and/or if any real checking was done on the names.

Now I know.. (yes they do)

One of my neighbors' names is on the petition. Right name, right street, wrong house number. If that was legitimate, I would suspect my neighbor would know his own house number.

Scottso, any chance you'd be willing to get in touch with me and let me know which name you are referring to? It could be helpful to the investigation. Kim at upperwestcambridge dot com.
