That's a very interesting piece ... of fluff. Bolt seems like nothing but a thinly veiled outpost of China Inc. "We've got China covered While our engineering team helps plan for production during the design phase, our extended family at Dragon Innovation helps execute. If you're building a consumer product, Dragon is the best resource in the world to support growing startups building their first product at scale." Not only do they seem way too eager to fill east-bound container ships but they don't explain where their money comes from or how they get paid. It reminds me of the inventor hot-lines I used to see advertised on TV in an effort to sluice idea dust into corporate gold pans. "We're not mentors or advisors. We leverage our experience of shipping tens of millions of units to ensure your team executes well every step along the way." That sounds a lot like advising to me. What am I missing ? Why do we need more expert not-mentoring help not making it here in Massachusetts ?
