And St Patrick's day is already over.

Years of reading the globe has me conditioned to expect two things in life.

Dropkick Murphy stories that start and end with the month of March.

And breaking news two days before thanksgiving about the heavy air traffic at Logan like its never happened before.

This is a neighborhood story that Adam posts about, wait for it, Boston and Inner Greater Boston neighborhoods, stories which receive scant attention from the Globe, unless French Muslim feminists are adversely impacted, or from the Herald, since Hillary and Elizabeth Warren weren't meeting together in the LMP to plan the downfall of Western Civ. with EBT cards to illegals. This is the best thing about this site, best local news coverage bar none with a secondary thumbs up to the Dorchester Reporter, the best neighborhood paper in the area.

Upside of this story, Milton Tough Guy, Ken Casey, who grew up only steps from where now Bain Capital employee Deval Patrick lives, and also steps from where Boston 2024 press agent Shirley Leung lives, finally gets to say he is the Dorchester tough guy he always thinks he was. Poor Ken, all those tough times in Milton in the early 80's. How did you survive those tough areas with those tree lined streets and their 1920's single family colonials and that good school system? The trauma of the Cunningham Park Pool and the sorry state of all those safe streets must have made you feel for that the life of a Hemey Park rat was for you. God Speed Ken, because the story did not point out that your (and Nayak's) Pembroke bar fell flat on its face from poor management.

They're about the only Onion knock-off I've ever seen that's actually funny.

Don't forget mentions of the at-all-other-times-nonexistent Block Island the second snow is predicted.

These guys are OK, if you find the Pogues to be too quiet and introspective.
