Man with knife peers into Roslindale house

Urban Artifact reports that around 5 p.m. a 50ish man with a knife in his right hand peered through her window at Florence Street and Firth Road in Roslindale and, when she asked him through the door what he wanted, he said he was looking for "Mary."
Her name is not Mary.
He wore a black Star Wars hat, headphones, a purple or blue hoodie, jeans and sneakers. Her surveillance camera captured this image of him. She told him to leave and he did, heading down Florence towards Hyde Park Avenue.
Yes, she contacted police first.

Happened to me
A few weeks back a prowler shone a light through my window around 11pm and tried to lift the window. White guy in a dark hoodie (What's up with the dude in her picture described as wearing a blue hoodie? Looks white to me.) As one does, I screamed at him to "fuck [himself]", woke the wife up and told her to call the cops. Then, in a tremendous burst of inspired stupidity, I decided to chase him down the street. Thankfully for both of us, I don't run very fast without shoes on and he lost me.
The police showed up about a half-hour later and took a report with a "You're wasting our time" attitude.
Same. Someone tried opening
Same. Someone tried opening widow as I slept around 11pm on a Thursday. Couldn't believe it. Ran out of my room yelling and he ran off. Cops came in 2 mins and k9 lost scent. I had an electrician instal 2 high quality cameras. Sucks I had to pay all that but safety is important.
Yup, I got the same spiel
Yup, I got the same spiel from the police. Since no laws were broken, they can't do shit and didn't seem to care about anything except how annoying my report would be to put into the new computer system. Sorry to inconvenience you.
