Seaport Legal wants to test later hours on patio

CORRECTED: Application is only for LTK patio.

Legal Test Kitchen, 225 Northern Ave., goes before the Boston Licensing Board next week to seek permission to keep its outdoor patio open until 2 a.m. The restaurant currently has to shut it at 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Legal Harborside, 270 Northern Ave., meanwhile, hopes to gain permission to keep its patio open until 2 a.m. seven days a week.

The board considers the requests on Wednesday in its eighth-floor hearing room in City Hall. Hearings start at 10 a.m.

There are so many yuppies in SoBo now, you have to start making sub-groups.

1. the 25 and under frat bros and bras.
2. the 25-30 higher end yuppie couples
3. the hispters (no age for them)
4. the LGBT group (no age for them)
5. the 30+ yuppie families

luckily group 1 is a very small % of us yuppies. Also, i know someone that works the door at Stats. he says all the IDs are from Dot and the South Shore. I believe it because one of my younger coworkers just got priced out of SoBo. He is moving to Dot.

Eventually SoBo is going to be on par with Back Bay.

Pretty sure they want the kitchen open until 2am, the bar is already open that late.

Legals Test Kitchen is already open till 2am. Legals Harborside Rooftop closes at 1am. This article is not correct.

Thanks for pointing out the fact that I need to be more careful reading things. The application does, indeed specify "seasonal patio," which somehow I missed. My apologies for that.
