Yeah, any updates on this? I usually run on the trails at Paul's Bridge on Friday mornings.

It sounded like somebody who had run away, rather than, say, an escaped prisoner.

Drove by there at 6:45pm and the scene was jumping with multiple agencies. As of 9pm when I drove by again, only one lonely BPD cruiser was left but even he pulled out right after I passed. I would think they found whomever they were looking for.

Cool, sounds like I won't disrupt any police work on my run.

I wonder if the whole northeast is a little on edge because of those prisoners. While yes, it's extremely unlikely that those guys have made it out of NYS, never mind reach Boston, it would be egg on the face of BPD if they managed to miss apprehending them if they were somehow in Boston.

the whole northeast is a little on edge because of the prisoners. Actually, the dogs that the authorities are using to track have picked up the scent of the men - the scent was found not far from the prison - and they are currently tracking.

People are working under the assumption that a person--a human being--is lost and doesn't want to be lost anymore. So some people are looking for this person. The significance of this lost person is probably very apparent to their friends, their families, their colleagues and various others and probably mostly themselves. I would hope their significance--just their sheer existence--would be innate through the power of empathy to most people. But since you asked maybe you are generally seeking to explore the significance of anything/everything/nothing--person or otherwise? I would suggest reading a book.

We were in Readville at a Little League game "just through the trees." There were a few dozen kids, parents, babies. The state police helicopter was flying so low it nearly skimmed the tree tops near us, so who ever it wss, they were closeby. Info from law enforcement would have been helpful. It was obvious they were looking for someone, but we weren't sure if they were looking for a lost child, confused elder, ax murderer or self - styled terrorist. Should we take our kids and get out of dodge, keep and eye out for a confused grandpa or help in the search for the missing child. Law enforcement don't keep us in the dark!

They would have evacuated the area if you were in danger...

It looks like they are still searching today. Does anyone have an update?

Yeah, as of 11am Friday, there are two helicopters over Paul's Bridge. Nobody there when I ran this morning, but there were truck and horse tracks on the trail.

...is this the Berm Road (Fowl Meadow) trail you are talking about?

it's a beautiful area but every so often when running (exercise) or walking (meditation) I get a little feeling that there are folks in them thar woods. I know there are some homeless camps; who was this guy they were looking for?

have never seen homeless camps in Fowl Meadow or in the woods for that matter.

...but ya have to go off the beaten track a ways...same for Stonybrook.

Poor guy...hope he's ok and having a beer at Master McGraths.

Saw my first campsite in Fowl Meadow a couple weeks ago from my kayak... Never would have found it from the ground. Stony Brook seems to have peaked a while back. No camps yet this spring, only noticed one last year briefly. 3-4 years ago there were several big ones near the back edge of the golf course.

I've never had any issues in either park. Especially at Fowl Meadow, when I see another human, they tend to be bird watching.

It is a local long time resident of Readville, with many family, kids, grandkids and friends who love him. I hope he is found soon and is OK.
