Things are really popping on the Common today

Soggy conditions seem to mean more popcorn than people on the Common today for a large-screen viewing of the Sox game, as Gustavo shows us.

Soggy conditions, the Sox aren't in a pennant race, and the drama of waiting for Papi's 500th dinger has come and gone.

What a great idea though for when it's dry or when the Sox are in a pennant race or when other dramatic elements are at play.

It's an NFL Sunday, even in the New York Mets' clubhouse. Did all that popcorn go to waste?
