Normally I would think of a "Communist Russia Conspiracy Theory".

But right now I'm thinking of how much abuse that wall just took....what a poor wall.

it sounds exactly like their own. Maybe the problem is that Lenny Clarke is from Cambridge.

The accent I'd like to see an outsider try to emulate is that of BDP Commissioner Bill Evans. That's a very specific flavor of the working-class Southie accent that I suspect is very hard to reproduce credibly.

That the truth is otherwise. Hyperlocals can pick up the variations in Boston accents, while outsiders think there is only one way we talk.

When Julianne Moore was on 30 Rock, I often defended her accent in that I had heard people talk like the way she was trying to speak. It wasn't a common variation, but apparently it was the accent her coworkers at HoJo's spoke back in the day.
