Woman hit by train in Norwood

Around 11 a.m., by a freight train on the Franklin Line, just past the Norwood Central station. The woman, in her 50s, was taken to the nearby Norwood Hospital in serious condition, Transit Police report.

What is it with people getting hit by things that have a right of way? Trains travel on a track, they don't serve out of their way to hit you, you put yourself in their path. We live in a country full of morons.
