Corn growing out of a Roslindale sidewalk

Watch out, Iowa. This corn plant is growing out of a crack in the sidewalk on Glendower Street (although it would have been more poetic had it been growing a block over on Cornell).

Taxonomy of juvenile species is VERY difficult. There have got to be tens or thousands of grasses and sedges. Very few specialists in this area.
