BRA tells New York developer to redesign proposed 59-story tower at Bromfield and Washington

The Boston Business Journal reports the BRA wants the company to come up with something that doesn't completely overshadow Bromfield Street.

The giant streetscape murdering private driveway devouring most of the ground floor retail frontage should have something to do with it.

I agree with that part. Like the 45 Province - turn the whole street into a private hotel-like drive in area. Plenty of other buildings survive with smaller garage/loading dock entrances....
