Tony leaves and Mike Myers rides the high speed line. What is wrong with this picture?

Funny and clever.

I think that this is great. Good for this dude. I hope it gets him some notoriety as an artist and thinker and gets the issue some additional notice.

My personal favorite: "you're like the old dude in the back of the club...everyone's hoping you don't fall over and that you don't hurt anyone."

As much as I adore his video, I take issue with Tory's use of such a stereotype. I might be the oldest man in the club, but I'm not there to drool, I'm there to dance!

Yes, I know the kind of person he's thinking of and I understand the analogy he's using, but I would never use Tory's demographic to characterize bad behavior, so I don't think it's fair that he uses mine.

I don't go around groping strangers on the dancefloor โ€” indeed, it's people who are young enough to be my grandchildren who come up and grab me while I'm dancing or pull my beard without asking. I often see young people falling down drunk or getting into fights โ€” but it's only just a few people who do that, certainly not enough to paint all of them in a negative light.

I'm not really offended, but I would like Tory to realize that he'll be as old as me someday. When he's sixty years old, I hope Tory is still welcome in the club and enjoys being there as much as I do.

Morrie Schwartz danced until he could no longer dance.

The point is comparing the T an old guy who has trouble standing up and makes you wonder if he or someone else would get hurt if he fell. If that remind you of yourself you should be offended. If you don't have trouble standing up, you can let it go.

... stereotyping a minority group is something else.

Imagine if someone used a demographic you identify with to characterize bad behavior. Even though you don't behave that way, would it still be alright to paint your entire group with an ugly brush? That's all I'm pointing out.

But once again, I'm not that offended and I love Tory's video โ€” I hope he keeps up the good work!
