Commuters get no prize when Red Line train up and dies

Red Line delays

Somewhere, a Red Line train paid its fare to the ferryman and now riders who just want to get home get to enjoy the company of their fellow commuters. At 6:17 p.m., Mark Peter Detwiler reported:

Issues on the redline southbound, been waiting at Park 25 minutes for a braintree train.

Can we have trains that work in summer's heat? We are in a temperate climate zone; other communities are worse. Is this rocket science?

Assuming you are under 40.

Do you drive a 40 year old car? Would you trust a 40 year old car on a hot summer day or in the dead of winter.

I give Baker a partial pass on this, as opposed to first term Patrick and Romney. Infrastructure is key. When it gets ignored, things like this happen.

Baker's MBTA is a fail.

At least he fixed it so fares can only go up 7% instead of 10%.

Like being thankful you only got kicked in the shin instead of kneed in the groin.
