Delays on the Red Line once more rife due to a train that died at Alewife

Service all along the Red Line has come to a grinding halt due to a train that has left this mortal coil at Alewife.

Meanwhile, the Rockport/Newburyport is once again imitating the Fairmount Line.

At 5pm at Kendall were 24, 41, and 44 minutes, according to Transit app. The T alert labeled this as minor delays.

Fearing a repeat of Monday's nightmare, I opted to take busses home instead. An hour and 45 minute commute to go four miles. Quintessential Boston.
