Driver tries to cut off a trolley; riders now paying for her folly

Marianna reports on what happened at Comm. Ave. and South Street in Brighton around 7:30 a.m. with her B Line trolley and a car:

Stopped next to each other at a light, light change, train starts moving, lady tries to turn left through it.

To be fair she technically pulled out in front of it without giving it any hope of stopping, not actual broadside.

It was front corner to front corner impact, low speed, so I think injuries unlikely

Teeheehee has an idea:

Should paint some train sharrows on the street to raise awareness to drivers they might be there.

Twitter is FOR updating. Grow up. (Or get younger??? You both sound a bit like curmudgeonly elders.)

Get your face out of that phone and notice the world outside

Tell that to drivers who turn into trains. And then terminate their license.
