Mattapan murder victim identified as Lynn man

Boston Police report the man shot to death early Sunday at 227 River St. in Mattapan was Chaz Burton, 26, of Lynn.
A second man, found stabbed at the scene, is expected to recover.
Burton, a 2007 graduate of Lynn Classical High School, leaves his father, a brother and a sister. He was a forklift driver at Restaurant Depot.

It's really tragic to have to say goodbye to Chaz. A very helpful and delightful person, he would always help me when I went shopping at Restaurant Depot in Chelsea. The entire Reataurant depot family is devastated to lose him. His mother passed away from cancer just a few months back which is another tragedy in itself. Rest in Paradise
