Orange Line train dies at North Station; Means the ride home has a longer duration

An Orange Line train stopped breathing at North Station; the T says the train is gone and the commute is back to normal, but some riders disagree:

Been at state for 20 mins. 1 very over crowded train only!!

I boarded at State a few minutes after 5 and the service alert had already been cancelled. Trains were running about every 10-12 minutes, and the platform was VERY crowded, but I made it on the first train since I knew where to stand (and am not afraid to push a little).
