Evans made an assertion about the talents of a "few people" in the department. Nowhere in the article did I see that he made a solemn promise or even a loose commitment for that matter. From what I read, he does not intend do anything regarding the matter other than try to make the polls safe for all.

Maybe its after several false spray paint victim incidents like the crazed law enforcement spouse of last week. I tend to be skeptical of the motivations of these taggers.
