Dressing a turkey takes considerable time and effort! Cooking a wild one even more so. No time to brine it, either!
Well, no - and yes
Fresh wild birds this size can easily be dressed in about an hour and dry brined in under a day. (VoE)
But I'm pretty sure I would think more-than-thrice before eating any urban-dwelling animal. Even if 98% of their diet has been yummy bugs and green things from people's yards, that 2% of random human trash has 'spiced' their flesh with stuff I do not want to put in my body!
