Ready for a little thundersnow this weekend?

Thundersnow! - Songify This

No word yet if Jim Cantore is getting ready to fly back up to Plymouth to repeat his legendary thundersnow reporting from last year, but the National Weather Service is out with a very special weather statement for the weekend:

LATE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY MORNING...A PERIOD OF SNOW IS LIKELY AND MAY BE HEAVY FOR A TIME ALONG WITH THE RISK OF THUNDERSNOW. WHILE A MAJOR SNOWSTORM IS NOT EXPECTED A FEW INCHES OF SNOWFALL IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME MAY OCCUR AND IMPACT TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

And, yes, we could get "A PLOWABLE SNOWFALL" on Monday as well.

Had a 7am departure from logan 2 weeks ago on the day it last snowed

Have a 7am departure scheduled for Sunday just in time for THUNDERSNOW

Apologies for this. I think mother nature has it in for me

And you may not want to hear this but I have 10+ flights over the next 22 days so load up on french toast materials and prepare for a snowy April

You're grounded. Go to your room and stay there until I tell you to come out. (thinking July for that behavior)

It could just as easily be my 10pm scheduled arrival at Logan causing this.

At my house, shovels and ice melt are NEVER put away until late May, usually after the flowers are safely in place.

Is May 7 one of those dates? Because NOT COOL MAN, I get married that day! If it snows in May, I will have to blame you.

Maybe even more than the one where he quickly and efficiently dispatches some stupid college kid trying to interrupt his live shot.

I grew up watching the guy, and for the longest time, I wanted to be a meteorologist (and, as it turns out, I should have followed that path, but hindsight, etc.).

Even if you (oddly) hated the guy (and I've been told he's a decent sort), you have to respect and be happy for anyone who loves his or her job as much as this guy does. Certainly I wish I loved mine that much.

The Songify people had made this. Certainly gave me a good chuckle even though the original was humorous and heartwarming enough. The sheer, childlike joy is hard not to smile at.
