Roxbury, part of Dorchester to share in ten new Hubway stations

Now entering its fifth year, the Hubway bike-sharing program reports it will add ten new bike-rental stations in Roxbury and North Dorchester, thanks in large part due to a $525,000 grant from the Barr Foundation.

I saw a station in Egleston Square the other day. I wonder when places like Roslindale and Matapan will get some Hubway love.

Similar to last year's new stations, I heard that there will be a poll for which locations people would like to see the new stations go.

Oh...

Columbia north from Upham's Corner, Dot Av north from Savin Hill...

If you want it old school, I suspect OFD types might say "Saint Paul's, Saint Kevin's, Saint Margaret's, Saint William's, Saint Peter's"

and less affluent than Davis Square, Union Square, and other Hubway-served parts of Somerville. (It is also becoming a restaurant destination.)

Somerville just put a station on Broadway near Sullivan Square within the last 24 hours!
