Waltham is alerting residents that two black bears have been spotted on the north side of the city - and that they should note that bears love bird feeders and easily accessible trash bins.
H/t Ian Lamont.
I will be so disappointed if they were not spotted on Bear Hill.
That's maybe two or three miles from our house in Watertown. Guess this was the wrong day to spread all my trash on the lawn and cover myself in honey.
You may get lucky still. Be patient, its a nice day!
Go to Cabela's and get some bear juice and pour it all over you. Your wife may get jealous with your new romantic partner, though. Here's some on Amazon.
Add some bacon to the honey and you'll get some interest.
Luckily the office building next door to me and the condos across the street have overflowing dumpsters for the bears to indulge in fine-dining dumpster diving.
Too bad my birdfeeders are empty or it would be a real feast
Bears that have learned to find food from human sources are likely to end up dead. Whether accidental or deliberate, don't feed 'em.
