Gee, I hope there's no problem for the type of immigrant that gets little coverage these days...you know, the *legal* type.
Unfortunately, there is.
I guess you haven't been paying attention, since I've seen plenty of coverage of the *legal* immigrants, holders of green cards and valid visas, who were denied re-entry to the country after having taken trips abroad in January. I've also seen plenty of coverage of pretty arbitrary harassment at the border, of *legal* immigrants.

The harassment extends to not just citizens but native born Americans.
This fellow was detained by CBP the other day because of his suspiciously Muslim name.

A Puerto Rican man was detained by ICE and threatened with deportation to Mexico.

You only have one side in these anecdotes. ICE isn't allowed to say who forgot their passports or had someone else's ID by mistake and the list goes on and on.
This happened 30 years ago, it happened 5 years ago and it will happen tomorrow. It also happens to a dozen or so white people at the Canadian Border every day, it happened to me and my friends when we we in college.
