What a shame. Think of the inhaler manufacturers! What will they do when children no longer get asthma from nearby coal power plants?

I remember as a kid in upstate NY, just once seeing a coal truck pull up to a neighbor's house and pouring coal down the chute into his basement. The house I grew up in had a boarded-up coal chute and a room that was once the coal bin.

Amazingly, at least as of 2015, there were still more than 3,000 residences apparently heated by coal, which would appear to be three times the number heated by solar. Those numbers seem dubious, but you never know I guess.

I can't comment about businesses, but I've only seen one coal stove in someone's house in my whole life.
