East Boston man admits to being a drug-dealing would-be MS-13 murderer

Catracho

Christian "Catracho" Alvarado, 28, yesterday pleaded guilty to participation in a criminal conspiracy and conspiracy to distribute more than 100 grams of heroin, the US Attorney's office in Boston reports.

Alvarado, indicted last year along with 60 other alleged MS-13 members in the Boston area, belonged to the gang's East Boston Locos Salvatrucha "clique," the feds say.

On May 11, 2008, Alvarado and other MS-13 members, including fellow EBLS member Edgar Pleitez, also known as “Cadejo,” attempted to murder a gang rival by beating him near a soccer stadium in East Boston. Alvarado also allegedly conspired with Santos Portillo-Andrade, also known as “Flaco,” the leader of the EBLS clique, and Pleitez to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin. On several occasions in August 2015, Alvarado and Pleitez were recorded selling heroin to a cooperating witness. In addition, using a court-authorized wiretap, federal agents intercepted telephone calls between Alvarado and Portillo-Andrade in which the two men allegedly discussed selling a half-kilogram of heroin for $26,000. On Oct. 26, 2015, agents followed Alvarado and Portillo-Andrade to the sale, after which, the agents stopped Alvarado and Portillo-Andrade’s car and seized $26,000 in cash as well as a loaded firearm and a machete.

According to the US Attorney's office, Alvarado is the 13th person named in last year's indictments to plead guilty. He's scheduled for sentencing on July 6.

Other people named in the indictment have been charged with five murders, including those of three teenagers in East Boston.

Alvarado is the thirteenth defendant to plead guilty in this case. Other defendants have pleaded guilty to RICO conspiracy, drug trafficking, document fraud, and immigration offenses.

Mayor Marty "I'll House Them in City Hall" Walsh couldn't be reached for comment. Nice press release on Holy Thursday before the long holiday weekend. Classic time to avoid scrutiny. God Bless the victims of MS-13, known and unknown. May President Trump and A.G. Sessions stop the insanity.

So MS-13 is actually located in the South American region and you're probably just thinking they are from Mexico. The only reason I know this is years ago there was a woman who was raped, dismembered(a signature of the gang usually done with a machete), and lit on fire . If your looking to a leader to stop the madness your barking up a wrong tree.
Why? I'll tell you:
1. Victims are mostly of Hispanic origin
2. Victims tend to be here on visas or illegally to be sent home to the slaughter by the same leaders you wish would do something so I guess they are in a way. Just tossing bodies into the threshing machine back home known as MS-13
3. If you get your info from your cable box this is always portrayed as a South American problem and not a white one
4. Sometimes even a frayed connections to the gang(example paying someone to bring you over the border or doing something for easy money to make your way to the US) Allow police to categorize victims as rival gang members/fringe gang members or "Hispanic community problem"
5. Did I mention how violent they are? Google MS-13 crime scene and click on images if you can stomach it.
6. "Dressing down" this is a very important term when they have a big event like a large arrest or brutal/mass-murder members are told to not wear gang colors or any of the symbolism that would be worn to show they are apart of MS-13.

I could go on but I'll end with this. This isn't your run of the mill Law & Order episode. They are and have been a vicious tactical operation. However when a dent in the organisation is made they learn from it and adapt. South America isn't on those two radar at all its just Mexico and the middle east(aka Muslim's around the world). Also before you have the notion that all are from the Mexican boarder check out Puerto Rico's economy. It's safer to stow away on a cargo ship with a possible fake id than to do that. And once you dock you can bribe your way for passage. It's been a go to for passing drugs to the states for years even before the economic stress. And if you're really interested in plunging into a rabbit hole the gang itself could have an endless amount of money due to the CIA Contra cocaine trafficking. But I choose to research and learn rather than hypothesize endlessly.

Central America, specifically El Salvador, which is of particular importance locally because East Boston and other nearby communities have significant Salvadoran and Central-American communities. If you're really concerned about the issue, you'd know that makes a difference.
